    DreamBoxEdit help!

    Hi guys, have just bought a DM500s and have successfully flashed it wth PLi jade 3, mounted my PC's HDD and can stream from it to PC using webif/web-x-tv etc, so am sure all the network settings are correct.

    But when i try to load services/bouquets using DBE i get "Could not connect to Dreambox. Check IP Address, network settings and status of Dreambox." in the FTP log.

    When i test IP connection via DBE i get "Failed to connect to the DreamBox on IP address 192.xxx.x.x(port 80).

    Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

      is the firewall blocking it ?

          No DBE is unblocked.

              did you set it up in your options in dream edit

                  Check the ip addresses are correct for everything in DBE. Pc..Router and Dreambox

                      Cheers guy's got it sorted.... There was a comma instead of a dot in the DB IP address.

                              i have a dm600s and my own legit sub card from dishnet and flashed with jade3 ,jtaged my 301 dish box for the box keys and by the way that was the easy part,have uploaded all current files ....got lock on 119 110 sats and still cant even get the free dishnet welcome channel 100 or 101 ..can some please help it has been a very long 6 days here ..p.s. my goal is to get my 600s to read the card so i can watch tv like every one else.

                              footnote : i have been in the fta world many years and this 600s is kicken my ass ...
