need help in converting cable to sattlite

I have changed my Cable Tuner to new Satellite Tuner for D600 pvr, i have sky dish installed with double LNB, can someone please guide me on how to setup Sat on my Dreambox D600, i.e. what image, firmware or file would i need? Newbie to satellite, Thanks in advance

Just a tip, don't expect to get sky without a card unless you are going the cs route.

sory for the late reply, but any guide to get started as i am newbie at Sat.
also i have no idea what position to choose for my sky dish, i.e. Astra19, Astra 28, etc.

sky use astra 28.2 but as said by manic dont expect to get their channels to open for free, it will need a valid subscription or cs.

is it possible to know the firmware i need to use as i have tried pli jade 2 and gemini 450 but i cannot find astra 28.2 in the any box.

Load Pli Jade 3 and then load Sky Bouquets using a program called Dreamboxedit.

i use plijade and its on there. just press menu> 6 then go to sat config and then select as the picture then save

I have FTP UK Sky Tv files to dreambox from pc but when i check my D600 there are not there.
What am i doing wrong? It says it had sent them but i have send a reload command manually as something fails!

I am using Pli jade3, Service and bouquets files in/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/, and user bouquets files in /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/, satellite files in /var/etc/.

Help needed, i cannot get any channel working except few news channels, not even free view such as bbc or itv, when i scanned them yesterday they worked. Sorted

cable conected wrongly via ariel amplifier.
