boxkey for d600

all the thread you read regarding CCam is that they all say add boxkey yet i cannot find any thread which says how to get boxkey from the dreambox d600s box.
i read somewhere that if i have serial number, then i can convert the S/N to boxkey, but it says you need 17 digit and on D600s it is 15 digit.
so how do i get boxkey please?

Most people use the boxkey of other boxes in their dm600 so that they can use the card that they subscribe to in their dm600. As far as I know the dm600 does not have a boxkey but why and where are you looking to use your dm600 boxkey?

thankyou for your reply, i hope you dont mind me saying but i was interested in c/s, as i no longer can get cable, i have changed tuner to sat and wondered how to do c/s, but as no post allowed and being newbie i read somewere that you need boxkey and ird to start with.

if you have a legit sat package, the box key is what pairs the legit box to the card, so if you wanted to use that card in the dm600 then you would require the boxkey from the legit box and enter it in the dm600 box in order to view the channels you sub to. if then you wanted to cs with it afterwards you would need to google and/or join another forum to do the rest. if you havent got a card and you want to cs then you dont need a boxkey just google and join cs forum
