DM800S File transfer

I have a router connected to my Virgin cable BB and an DM800S(Sim 2.01 BL75) hard wired into the router. Everytime I ftp the CCcam.cfg file from my pc to my DM800S it seems to knock out my internet connection for about two or three minutes. Anyone else come across this problem?

is it the dm800 or did it do it on your other dreambox
you tryed a different ftp programe
if the modem is still running ok , maybe be some setting in the router and the dreambox
you tred a new .cfg file or something local in the .cfg file cancelling it out

i dont actually transfer as such , just right click and select view / edit , then paste details in to it , maybe this method will resolve your issue ?

I always connect my DM by Wifi ftp TC i write ip,host., etc every time no problem is files transfer.

I had a dm600 previously and that always worked fine. I always keep a copy of the file on my pc and amend that when required before transferring to the DM800. I normally use Coreftp to copy the file but had the same issue when using DCC. Even though I lose the internet connection, internally the home network is working fine.

Hi my dm800 also had funny knock on effects to ym network too, what i did was take out the power cable and reinster it and its fixed now. im using newengima.to image i think
