dm500s clone image recomendation?

gettin my mates clone dm500s tomorrow to fix it up abit, anybody recommend a good image for it with a good sky uk epg,1 day listing wud be fine, wondering wud it be between pli max var, nabilo darkstar,or dk, any recomendations to which one with best epg,thanks

ok mate, iwhat pli image do i download, no sure here. is it max var one, i hear people talking about open pli images but not sure what they are

PLi? Images website go here and just choose latest for your box

I tried various images when i bought my DM500s, but settled on PLi in the end as i find them the most stable.

Im currently using OPENPLi max-var ....

As for an EPG, i installed the SQLite EPG import plug-in and use the radio times data.

thanks mate, just wondering is it the max var old frambuffer image i download on pli site?

On the PLi wiki they recommend that if you're not sure which version to use, just to use standard version and not the old frame buffer version!

Not sure what the difference is between the two tbh, but i went with the standard version and works fine.
