new dreambox wont work

hello all can anybody help i just got a dreambox from flee bay brand new and the firmware cvs 1.09 on it when i opend the box and set it up nothing happend the screen just stayed black it never said anything on my tv when powerd up then when i diconected it it was saying no signal so i think there is somthing there any help would be good thanks

Sounds like the image is corrupt. You may need to reflash the image with a NULL modem cable if you have all the bits to do it.
Or you could send it back to them.
