Help needed Flashing 500S

Hi, I have just tried to flash my DB using null modem and Dreamup. Have read all about the procedure on the forum before starting.
I made the connection to the serial port and then connected the power cable to the box.
Got the type of DB (500) up on Dreamup, but thats it nothing else. Waited a few minutes and tried again, but still the same only the type of box comes up.
Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong?

check the pc/dreambox ip addresses correct in dreamup proggramme and correct comport set

it worked for me
