Tried to flash an image on my DM600PVR using DreamUp. Unfortunately none of my laptops had a serial port. I tried a USB to serial adapter and a null modem cable on a laptop running Windows XP and kept getting the error popup "is not a valid integer". After googling this, the general recommendation appeared to be disable "Use FIFO Buffers" in Control Panel\System\Hardware\Device Manager\Ports and try to get a connection 40/50 time! I tried this on two different machines and no joy. I finally gave up and went to the attic to dig out an old laptop circa 1998 which ran Windows 98 and had a native serial port. When I connected up the null modem cable between the old laptop and my DM600PVR , everything worked fine.
