    when it get to the last pic soon as change the freq numbers the box resets...

        I meant is your dish fixed or motor or sky dish. Ddi you manage to scan the satellite ?

            when i go into start scan nothing seems to happen.

            it says scan in progess please wait and thats it

                                        don't know if its my bad eye sight but the picture quality doesn't seem that good, anybody else feel the same about the 500s ?

                                            this would depend on box, some are shite, some are ok, some are good. these are clones made by many different factories, cheapest to buy are cheap because of the way they are made. tried going cheap route, bought 10, 3 scrap nd some of others had crap tuners. as they say, you pay for what you get, spend ?10 to ?20 more, and buy quality. bought a couple of hundred of what i use and 1 faulty, swapped straight away, and no posting to china,
