My dm500hd power cycle

After installing gemini 2.5 my dm500hd, keeps freezing. Only way out is to power cycle it.
The point of freezing varies too much to say what is the root cause. It could freeze while searching for channels, booting up, watching, anywhere anytime it's random.

Has this being experienced by anyone?

Got my dm500hd a few days ago. I have same problem with almost every image. After some time the box freezes. No common pattern. Sometims it freezes when watching a channel or when scrolling the channel list. Somtimes it freezes but still shows the channel but no reaction from the remot. Im lucky if the box has not frozen within 5 minutes

special image to use, anyone having a dm500hd that does not freeze with gemini 5.1?

Beside gemini2-510-dm500hd-20100721132509.nfi a have tryed with openpli-1.0-dm500hd-20100912.nfi and latest PeterPan-Neverland.v2.1-DM500HD-PVR.nfi but with same result.

Boot also fails very often?

Have intalled mgcam 1.30 but dont think thats the problem since it also unstable at boot time? Could it simply be a sick box?

Can anyone help us plz )

i got a dm500 hd a few weeks ago and it's first class
i have tried a few different images on it from merlin.
peter pan. newnigma. i know have the gemini 5 image
and it works great no freezing or crashes etc: i found the newnigma 3.2
and the gemini 5 are the best images i have tested up to date

I have a DM528s that freezes on boot up. I have flashed it with many images and same thing. Flashes fine using Dreamup but does not work with any other program. Doesnt find the IP address. Anyone know what the problem is.

I have 500hd works fine with newenigma2 no freezing also does anyone know how stop the box changing ip address? as when i go into DCC comes up box not connected looked avery where in menu can not see it
