Hello guys, newbie here.

I have setup a network drive on my dm500s (PLI JADE 3) and got the SQLITE plugin for the EPG using radio times.

The only downside is that there database is quite small and does not include all the channels especially the asian.

Are there any other alternatives?

i use WeekEPG plugin on my TM600 "Enigma" box. uses the sat feed to grab data, so can get EPG listings for every channel.

should work on PLi image not tried it myself though.

Downloaded weekepg 3.2b but says PLUGIN LOADING FAILED when i try and open it.

Does any1 have a working EPG on dm500, even 1 day. If they could take a flash for me? ive tried every solution under the sun.

With the 500s i found the EPG to be nothing special the best solution was through Pli images Sqlite plugin.

Although on other images i.e. blackhole i found epg plugins but these were badly laid out and you could not switch to channel from it.

More options with enigma 2 receivers guys like the 800HD.

KingKad the solution I have mentioned above will give you a 3 day EPG.

Search on here for EPG for 500s and you will find a tut on how to set this up. Not difficult just mapping the channels is a bit of a pain but once you have done that thats it done only need to map again if a frequency changes or a new channel becomes available.

really good epg for the dm500 is the radiotimes ones.

i'm on pli jade image so i'm not sure if its available on all images.

you download the SQLite EPG import plugin.

in system settings, go to epg, in EPG data store select SQLite Database, then in EPG Location select browse/tmp then press green

then select number of days as 3, then save.

go into plugins menu, go to dreambox epg config, set days as 3, press blue, pair your channels, save, then press yellow to retreive and it will download the epg

yeah thats the one i was talking about is very good but as one of the guys was saying it does not have data for quite a few channels
