Dreambox 500s

Hello everybody sorry to start a new thread but I have recently got a Dreambox 500s and my motorised dish should be coming tomorrow (fingers crossed), I have been doing a load of wumming to make sure I don't make a mistake, I have downloaded the dk 1.1 image and a text file named 'Total Spoonfed Newbies guide to dreambox 500c'

I was just wonder are these steps also valid for 500s and the keys are from 2008.. will they be outdated and if so where can I get updated keys, Thanks.

P.S. Im eager to do something, what can I do with a sly dish? While im waiting for my motorised one.

The Cable and Sat boxes are flashed in the same way. The only thing that was open lately was Digi tv on Thor 1W but i think thats now gone over to Nag3 and keys will no longer work.
The only thing you will pick up on a sky dish with a dreambox is FTA channels, unless you have a sky card, then you can put that it the Dreambox. If your looking to view encrypted channels with your DM500 then you will have to look at card sharing. You wont find any info on here because it's against the rules. Ask Mr.Google for info on that
