having problems with communication set up flashed box etc but cant connect to internet any help please

Your router IP address needs to go in the 'default gateway' section of your network settings on the dreambox.

Did you insert the nameserver address of your ISP?

Enable DHCP and reboot the box using the 'reboot now' option in the shutdown menu.

Assuming the box is connected to a router?

thanks all just been and brought ethenet lead connected direct to the router suprising what a tenner can do no problems now able to put ip address in internet and veiw box problem now is installing cam etc let you know how i go on more relaxed lenny1

hi devilfish had it connected with serial lead now with Ethernet cable direct to router any suggestion what i could do and advance with set up lenny1

Follow Devilfish's advice and you should be fine for everything such as uploading keys, cams settings and streaming to a pc. Once you have it connected to the internet you should be able to do everything possible that is possible with a dreambox.
