    network and white card?

i've got a dm600 with pli jade 3 on. Im trying to get my white card working in this box, does the box need to be connected to the internet to read the card??

I have to disconnect my dm600 from the TV and Dish and take it over to the pc to do the telnet and ftp stuff, does this matter?? or does it need to be connected to all at the same time??

I have followed the intructions for installing cccam, cccam.ppc in /var/bin and config in /var/etc/

edited cccam.cfg with the boxkey: BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 MY BO XK EY

still no joy... the FTA channs work but not the channs from the card?

any info would be greatly appreceated.

    cheers

i dont want to say to much here as i dont want to get in trouble but you have to set cccam as your default cam after you have installed it ,you will need atleast cccam 2.1.3 for your card to work .you dont need the internet for the card to work but if your box is connected to the internet you can install cccam via your box remote control.
i love it when a dreambox comes together.

You can download CCcam from the PLi server if connected to the net.

        Blue button>Software management>Downloads>SoftCams/Cardservers.

Forgot to add, make sure you download both CCcam and CCcam config file.

could only find 212 on the server, so installed that...
i then deleted the cccam from /var/bin/ and replaced it with the one from the 214 .rar...
sotfcam setup still says 212 but it seems to be working?

              many thanks

thats because if you look for a file by FTP, you will find one which includes the softcam config and here you can rename the cam to what you want. when oyu install i fully tarballed emu, this information is included.
