Is my dreambox ready for the scrap heap?

strange one guys, dm500 been working a treat for months, then a few days the picture froze, i am using cccam 2.1.4, so i took power cable out back, left 10 mins, and then power happily watching tc another 10 mins, and boom pic froze again, note i was still able to access all menus with remote control so box hadn't froze, so i tried reflashing and same thing happened, but when i went i went to download cccam, it would take ages too, and not instant, he same kind of thing happend when i flashed again, any way guys, i am stuck, what should i do,, Thanks in advance Paul

could depend on what hop your recieving from cs. also could be you internet connection as it takes long to download software. try maybe using cccam 2.13 see if that helps with the channels.

Its not rocket science, if your box freezes on BBC1 or ITV or any other FTA channel then you have a problem with your box or satellite signal feed/tuner.

If your box freezes when watching a sky nd$ channel then you have a crap server and your dreambox is OK.

Well I can say that I have found CCcam_2.1.3 to more stable than 2.1.4.

I tried 2.1.4 when it first came out but went straight back to 2.1.3.

                        Stick with that now.
