    Dreambox DM500S How To Change Password?

    hi everyone im looking to change the password and username of my new dreambox dm500s to prevent someone hacking my box? can someone please tell me which is the easiest way to do this? help would be appreciated thanks in advance

      FTP the box with DDC for E1 use Telnet & type "Passwd" and it will prompt you to change the password.

          why my dreamboxedit can't detect my dreambox dm 500s even though I've keyed in the correct IP ?

                  Try username = root
                  password= dreambox
