just choose the satellite you want to scan and press OK on your remote..

im using Gemini_470_DM500s_NO-bomb image mate

go into your setup via the remote, select what satellite you wish to scan, scan it, then choose the channel you wish to watch.. if its not a freeview channel and you dont have a sky card it will just be a black screen..

sounds more like you are unsure of the settings of your image and box rather than a corrupted flash
