re-commissioning and old DM500s

Hi all,

I am planning on digging the old dm500 out and re-flashing. Has anyone got any recomendations for the best image + Cam + settings combi.

Ive always used Gemini + gbox 2.1b combination before with Captains settings. I have a motorised dish but Im really only interested in 13 + 19 degrees.

Sorry if this is a really noobish question but I have had a good look around the forum and its very difficult to make a properly educated choice on a good starting point. As I say I have been away from the scene for a long time and Id love to hear your opinions.

You should install Pli Jade 3 dm500 maxvar. You will need CCcam 2.14 and you have to read up on cardsharing. The Captains settings are about 18 months out of date. The Cajtons settings are very popular nowadays.

You wont get all channels using keys...very little is open these days.

hi m8 all u do is put this img Nabilosat Darkstar II_Skin Original_SPCS_2.5.16&CCCam_2.1.4_Maxvar_Mod cool753_25.02.2010 and everything is there just blue clour press it up dates keys
