Thanks mate, I am trying to get this card from a friend abroad ( a lot cheaper there) but he told me they only sell Irdeto 2 card so next question will Irdet 2 work on D500S? Is it staright forward just insert the card and off you go?Comment

Thanks mate, it is from Jordan and cost just under ?50 plus postage. I am bit reluctant in using Irdeto after what they did to Nova and was reading in other forums about problems in updating emm for jsc cards.Comment

I've been using JSC cards since they started few years ago and never had any issue with them (on several different receivers). ?50 is reasonable and almost as the official announced price. You may also renew/manage it online directly from Jazeera website.

I think you are right, I looked at couple of retailers web sites and they are only selling Irdeto. This is strange because jsc replaced their viaacess cards 3 by 4 just before of world cup so you don't expect to stop selling the new cards just after they upgraded them.Comment

Adam/iKay do you have any links to reliable sellers abroad that would post to the UK as that seems to be a very good price for the card. UK prices as usual are significantly higher than ?50.

Actually as per the official website, they have viaccess and Irdeto.
i dunno any sellers here who can ship to UK.. u will need someone to buy the card and ship it to u.
btw,, jsc is broadcasting in Arabic language except for one channel in English. are you guy welling to watch matches without knowing a word?Comment

I don't know a web site who ships to Uk as iKay said, only way to getting it is a mate abroad buying it and sending it in the post. There is a risk if the card needs updating you have to sebnd it abroad again.Comment

JSC broadcast last season's Champions League in English & Arabic.. They even had a pre / half time and post match studio hosted by Gary Lineker..
Also the pre-season games have also been in English & Audio

That's only on one channel mate. They have another 9 to 10 channels all in Arabic.
Adam, why would the card need updating? What I know is, if you buy brand new card, you only need to register it online from Jazeera website. From there you could manage your subscription.Comment

I see.. thanks Adam. Jazeera doesn't replace the cards in this case,, u will only have to buy the new one once the old one is over. So you'll be saving the post fee.
But again,, as long u have the cards with you.. you should ALWAYS use the online portal
Register your card and manage it directly from there. You will be getting the official prices, which are cheaper than the sellers prices, and you'll be done renewing your cards in few minutes.
