Dreambox DM500s

Hi all, im a newbie and just brought a dreambox after getting advice from a friend. Iv managed to set it up and scan and find around 600 channels. However i cannot watch the "locked" channels iv added on CCCam 2.1.4 using the GP firmware. I think iv missed a step out but im not sure what iv missed and how to get this working... any help would be greatly appreciated
