    scan for channels for dreambox 500

    ok iv got my dreambox 500 flashed with pli jade image the thing i want to know is it ready to scan for channels when i connect it to the dish? or do i need to add another file to able it to scan for channels? or channel lists
    like when i done the dreambox 600 for cable i had to add i scan file just was wondering if it the same for sat?

      Once you add your long and lat settings you are ready to scan. Don't expect to view encrypted channels just by scanning.

          ok cheers bulldog sry im having trouble unstanding how to set my scale on my tm 2600 motor
          im on
          Latitude: 54.5756?
          Longitude: -5.9278?

          on my tm 2600 motor i have a elevation scale at one side and latitude scale at the other side. do i set this with one side or both side on the motor?
