DM500s Capability

Good day mates! Can a DM500s also do like other well known receivers. Or can we call dm500s jack of all trades?

Will it read different kind of encryption at the same time?

The dreambox itself doesn't read the encryption, it's the emu that deals with that. If the encryption the channel is using is hacked then the emu will be able to read it.

How about the hardware? I read from other forums that some of its transistors could easily be destroyed. And what happens if the encryptions will change from 128 bit to 256 bit? Shall our DM500s expires?
