what is the difference between DM500s and DM500V8s

Hi I have just bought a DM500V8 thinking it was DM500s is there any difference? another thing is i have allready got a old dm500 and i have got i s*y tv bouquets on it i am trying to put the same bouquets same way but i am getting nowhere to do this i am usin dreamboxedit 3.0.0. and at the options i am selecting satellite reciver option am i doing this wrong?

hi ,i bought 1 of these for my spare room,its a better version of the old dm500s,it looks very smart ,similar to the dm600,its supposed to have a better tuner but when i installed the darkstar2 image on it,it wouldnt pick up eurobird 28.2. I only wanted it for sly uk so i installed the pli jade3 maxvar image on it and it works perfect.its a nice and cheap option and does the job

why does it not let me send the sly uk bouquets via dreamedit ?
it seems to be sending it ok when i restart the machine it is not there

give dreamset a try i use that to transfer bouquets, think its in downloads

For me its the exact same box , except this one has an off/on switch on the back,

and after you send your bouquets via dreambox edit you have to click on the
*Reload Settings On Dreambox* Button
should work after that
