I am a noob with dreamboxes and I got a DM500S. I looked up some tutorials on how to get it working with pay tv in Australia and found settings to make it look for the Optus C1 satellite. It seems to see the signal, the SNR is in the 90%s but nothing is coming up. It usually says something about the stream couldn't be descrambled.
I have a legit Foxtel _cable_ subscription card. I put this into the DM500 but it didn't seem to help. Can I use a cable sub card with the DM500S or do I need an Austar (satellite) sub card for the DM500S?
