Service Could Not be found!

Hi all, my sat box has been working fine over the past few weeks, however yesterday evening all the stations have gone off and we have the message saying service ould not be found, I am using a DMV500V8 box, the settings have not been touched since it started working a few weeks ago, does anyone know why this might have happened, I am based in the West-Midlands,

Hi smirnoff_rules the SNR is 87% and the AGC is on 80% and the BER is 0%,

Hi firestorm, we also thought it may be was due to the wind, so we did play around with the dish but this still didn't help get the picture back, we then put in a quad LNB in the hope that might work, but still nothing,

Can either of you suggest anything we might try?

are the fta channels down as well?
which sat are you trying to get or is it all of them

have you rebooted the box
or
have you tryed doing a rescan see what it picks up
or
tryed the the connectors on the cable to make sure

Hi Firestorm, yeah all the stations have gone including the FTA ones, they are all stating Service could not be found, I am mainly trying to get the Asian Channels and the Sports stations,

When we go into bouquets and go into sports for instance at the bottom of the screen it is saying no data for this service avail, this was the message we got a few weeks ago when we were setting up the box but this has not been on since unless I went to select Sky Sporrts 2 from the Bouquets Sports section,

Hi Westkill, yes we have rebooted the box, but when it fires back up it states Service Could ot be found again, when we did a rescan in the Transponder Scan it says all known transponders have ben tried, but no lock was possible. Verify antenna-/cable-setup or try another network, and we made sure that there were no loose cables out of the box,

If it helps it the box has been installed with The Gemini Project picture in the background when I go onto Transponder Scan,

Morning, does anyone have any other ideas on how we can get this started again... also is there is anyone in Wolverhampton who wouldnt mind coming over helping us out if I cant get the box working PM me please,

Have you a friend who has a sky dish where you can take your box round and connect it.No need to set up a network for fta channels.
Will then rule out if its your cabling problem because it sounds like that to me if you cant get anything or maybe a dodgy lnb or the dish is out of alignment.
