dish dont move

hi everyone
set my dish up to thor 1west and have bbc world when i try and send it to 28.2 it tries to move and says it is but it dont any idea,s cheers

could be a few reasons but check that you have not set software limits

have u put your latitude and longitude in right

dont think i have i have a dm600 how to u check

Check that your wiring is right, i recently had a problem similar, turned out to be a slight break in the coax from when i moved reciever

put my longitude as 2.044 west my lat as 52.583 north
hope this is ok i live near wolverhampton west mids

i can still turn it with the remote

dont have a dm600 only a dm8000 but on that you goto
Menu -> Set Up -> Service Searching -> Tuner Configuration
under tunner select advanced lnb1>sat(ie 1w)then usal 1.2 and the menu will open up and give you the option for lon and lat then repeat for each sat

enigma it says on the screen it did turn yesterday but wasnt locked onto thor so sorted that today now another problem help!!!!

no i was gonna flash one of those but was told on this site that my imagine would be ok this was already on here when i brought it cheers

here is the user guide manual
i would recommend the darkstar image but if you have bought your box with a server preinstalled then flashing it would lose the settings
