hi,got me mate a dm500s,when connected up the signal is not locking,trying to get signal on 28.2e,when he puts in his sky plus box signal is there but not on dm,(his dm worked ok in my house,signal ok)his sky wire has 2 connections on it 1 for sky and sky plus,is this reducing signal on dm and preventing him gettin singnal then,should he run 1 single coax cable only?

Not sure if this will help or not but when I brought my dm500 i too was running it from my sky dish. I found that if i had one wire in the sky+ box and one in the dm500 it would not lock. However, if i took the wire out of the sky+ box and just put one wire in the dm500 then it would lock. -
strange one this mate, ,its now working with 1 cable in sky plus box and 1 cable in dreambox,but if i take out cable from sky plus box will not work,well got it on anyway,thanks mateComment
