    Go easy ,we all got to start somewere
    If going through the router the cable needs to be straight
    If box is connected direct to lappy
    It needs to be Crossover
    And Flash FXP will piss on both those Apps .IMO.....Paul

        Still struggling with this..crossover cable seems to transfer the file OK but no channels clear!!
        I still have DHCP un-ticked in the dreambox..is that right?

        Am I OK re-setting ip to dynamic in the laptop?
