Transponder help

Hi all i have a problem as below if any one can help running at 28.2E

box has been working fine for weeks now all of a sudden i can not pick up any transponder all i get is service could not be found.

running dreambox 500s cable from dish to box is fine all was working till about 8pm last night.

Could the dish have moved. You could try a reflash and see if that helps.

thanks for the response i have tried to reflash the box with now luck the dish is set fine as guanine sky box is working fine.

could it be the tuner that has gone ?

It could be m8 if your picking up channels on your sky box Try some other different images, it'll probably make no difference but it's worth a try Are you getting any signal strength at all ? Are you using a valid Sky card

No not using a sly card it CS from a mate for my bedroom and i have my guanine box and sub in the living room the guanine one is working fine.

i have tried a few different Images so i have just ordered a new box to give it a try.

all am getting is the
SNR from 70% to 80%
AGC from 95% to 98%
BER is not moving at all

I think you jumped in too soon ordering another box m8, if it's cs get your mate to check things out because it sounds like the share. Discussion is not allowed on here but i will say check CCcam is default cam and your actually connected to your mate.

are you able to get fta channels like bbc1?

I can not get anything as it will not lock in to a transponder to scan for channels all settings are ok.

i know we can not talk about CS that's why i was trying to avoid it if i could get the FTA i would say it's a problem with the other but as i can not get anything seems odd.

if its the same cable f plugs lnb and dish is working on your sky box and you cant get fta channels then it dose look like your tuner as gone u/s

Ok got my new box today plugged it and bobs your uncle works first time. locks in to the transponder with no problems.
