cut the head off an old scart lead and use a 5v fan with resistor.

another way is to install a pwm fan (fiver on ebay) with the fan control plugin. then you can set the fan to operate when the box reaches a certain temperature/control the fan speed/etc.
works fine on my 8000 clone.
