pli image adive

I have a dm500 clone and have decided to switch from my gemini image to the pli jade image for the improved epg setup but am unsure which version to go for.

do i go for -

a) nightly build pli image
b) current release jade3 enigma 1 image
c) the maxvar version

Also do you recommend I try the old or new framebuffer version.

personally I'd say don't bother the dm500s does not have enough free space to support the epg data and will probably lock up, even if you do it over a network it still locks up. Buy a tv magazine its easier and less stressful.

I use OpenPLi-maxvar on my Dm500s, as for the framebuffer version, i once asked on the pli forums which version was best to use and was told just to use the standard/new version if unsure.

The EPG works fine on my DM, never caused it to lock up...

thanks for the info, im not fussed about a full 7 day epg and would be happy with just a full 1 day epg list.
