dm500 help

i am thinking of purchasing a satelite dish and a dm500s reciever. can i use a standard sky satelite dish as the dish
if not which can be recommended. also will i need a card in my reciever when i get it. regards dave

Yeah you can use a standard sky dish with the DM500s aslong as you only want to be able to receive sky uk channels. You will not need a card in the box to receive the FTA channels. To receive the channels that you must pay for you will need a card and an active sub with sky. Although im guessing you don't want to pay which people can't help you with here.

Sky dish is perfect for Dreambox 500,if you do enough searching you will get the answers you need but im afraid you cant talk about the other topic on here.

You will be able to get set up with help from others on the forum and im sure someone will point you in the right direction.
