      yamar1 You will need a WiFi Bridge, WiFi Router Dreambox

      Features:
      1. The new addition of a USB wire is to connect a computer (desktop, laptop)for power, no need extra power adapter.
      2. It can be used for any wireless network products, such as wireless router, IP camera, azbox, eagle, dreambox, network printer, etc. Make all network products with ethernet wireless.
      3. Support any VoIP atas and VoIP phones;
      4. Support WiFi model: Ap client;
      5. IEEE 802.11b/g compliant;
      6. Support wep (64 bit), wep (128 bit), wpa, wpa2 security access;
      7. Support ssid broadcast.
      8. Frequency: 2.4GHz

      It will set you back around ?29.00 or €33.00

      Google ( WiFi Bridge, WiFi Router Dreambox) There are plenty of places to buy one from

        How does it get it's power? Do you need an extra power lead?

          i use one of these made by vonet, you set them up with laptop or whatever for password and network etc then plug into the dm net port the power lead plugs into the bridge then into the dm and it works perfect. not as sensitive as a laptop wireless link about the same as a usb dongle.
          would highly recomend

            Thanks for replying.

            Could you just clarify the power issue please.

            The one I'm looking at has an ethernet connection (which goes in the Dm500) but the other lead is a usb (of which there isn't one in a 500)

            Does the Dreambox,s power supply go into the wifi bridge? If so how does the Dm receive power?

              plug the psu of the dreambox into device and device into dreambox. if you look at alunfennells pic, you can see the power lead on device.

                Gotcha

                My model only has 2 leads.one ethernet and one usb however the usb connection can be removed to reveal a power connector which I presume goes into the DM500.

                cheers
