Way to control Dreambox on & off by time ?

I have a Eagle Dm500 in the boys room, and they are allways leaving it on overnight...Is there any software i can put on it so it will go into standby automatically at the end of the day ? I have thought about using a "plug in " timer, but if i can get away with using a script or something like that it will save a few quid.

mmm..I need to look into this. Is it only for Enigma 2 ??

nope , its a linux / unix script so should be possible on enigma 1

theres a script download in darkstar2 that does that, not tryed it my self.
