    DM500 CCCam Internal Reader Settings

    Hi all

Please can someone help me as I have been banging my head against a wall for days trying to find out how to get cccam to read a Card from the built in card reader.

I just need to know the /dev/?? for the reader.

Also What is the clocking speed for a sly legit card

I am not looking to card share I just want to be able to use a dm500 to record to my pc over network as the flats I live in only have a single feed and cannot add my own dish. Due to this the sky plus box will not work properly and sky will not supply me with one as I cannot give it a dual feed.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hope this is not against forum rules.

CCcam 2.1.3 or 2.1.4 will read the card directly no need to tell it what card slot
you will need to add the boxkey to the CCcam.cfg to clear movies/sports

should be in var/etc, if it's not there then you can download it from the plue panel normally.

definitly not there. I have installed CCcam 2.0.10 via addon manager and i still can not see any CCcam.cfg. Inside var/etc i have mtab and picon nothing else. Inside Var/bin i can see ccam 2.1.10 and cam.cfg but i guess this is not what i am looking for...

what image are you using? you need to download cccam 2.1.4, in the download panel there should also be an option to download the settings also, if not just create one in notepad and save it as CCcam.cfg and ftp it to var/etc
