Hi i am trying to use dreambox control centre to connect to my dreambox 500s .on the connections page it shows a red line connecting the computer ,dreambox, and router(the router shows that both the dreambox and pc have connections),the dreambox and router have numbers in boxes in dcc ,these numbers start with 10.0. the computer shows a 192.168 number and a pop up window shows "error 10057 in function send socket is not connected " when i click reconnect under the pc the error keeps showing.the dreambox has pl jade on it if that makes any difference.

I also have similar problem but Dcc does not recognize the JP address. The problem started during the flashing of Gemini Nonbomb image usjng Flash WizardPro, and I had a page on the Forum tried some things suggested there to no avail ,Further problem is my Pc does not have 9pin RS232 socket. Any suggestions .thanksComment

yes.. use DreamUP to flash and buy a USB to RS232 converter..
USB 2.0 to 9pin RS232 convertor serial DB9 adapter on eBay (end time 06-Nov-10 00:47:00 GMT)
if you have Vista on your machine it may not work..

You may have to search online for drivers for it to work with win7, as i had to buy one about a month ago and it never came with win7 drivers. Once you have the right drivers it should work fine.Comment
