dreambox clone 500s whats the best image...

hi all, finally had dreambox up and running the last fortnight, so would like to say thanks to everyone on here for getting me up and running,you know who you are... cheers,

on another note, i'm running nabilo darkstar 2,i've noticed the motor doesn't always seems to go where it wants to, and sometimes screen will freeze temporarily a black screen, mute button also comes on and off at times,

is there a better image for clone boxes or are these par for the course problems that come with a clone box, thanks again...

I use openpli image and it seems to very stable on my dm500 you can download it from there website there is diffrent beta builds that come out nightly you could also try pli jade 3.

i had different problems with this image on my clone the channel settings was a nightmare for me. i went back to the pli image works sweet now for me

I agree.Pli jade is very good and stable for my DM500.Streaming is good,also. thank you.

is there a download on this site for maxvar, and do i apply it directly over the top of nabilo dk 2 or delete nb dk2 first, or what,

i know i use dreamup to apply, just wanted a quick heads up on applying new image, thanks...
