    missing key files (dm500)

    Hi

    I followed this tutorial on utube for a dreambox 500
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7IOS9Yd4oI&feature=related]YouTube - DREAMBOX 500C TUTORIAL[/ame]

    And it wants me to copy 'Key files' and 'Scee files' but they are missing from the application 'flashfxp'

    Could someone suggest where to get them from pls, interested in UK sport channels.

    thanks a million

    Download the TCB.cc toolbar, you will get the files you are looking for there!
    TBH, Most of the UK has now gone N3 (new encryption) and no keys will sort that problem for ya!

    Keys you are looking for are for a 500c (cable box) , if it's a 500s (satellite) box you have ,, these files will be of no use to you!!

      Thanks tomhick024

      Yes I have a dm500s but a friend had the same reciever and he could view all channels through the LAN connection.
      This is what I want to achieve.

      I think the files you mentioned (TCB.cc toolbar) is using the traditional method (nagra 2/3) whilst my friend is using a workaround through LAN port.

      Could you assist with how to obtain server connectivity pls ? Maybe I should not be looking for keys as this is the old traditional method (can u confirm this). thanks

        Google 'card sharing' as it can't be discussed on these forums...Why not ask your friend?
