I'd be grateful if someone would point me in right direction to save several more days' work. Trying to set up Dreambox 500 to get Tivusat (I can get hold of original card if necessary). FTA channels work OK but service list a bit old. When I update it, box shows tv picture but doesn't respond for a very long time. Is that normal even with fast connection?
Have image with blue menu but not sure which one as I recall flashing the box but not with what. Any way to find out? The about page says version 3.something dated 2007. Could it be the original image?
Will this need to be replaced and if so, with what? DK1.1? Jade?
Can't download EMUs etc. with remote - presumably server is dead (or router problem).
Is what I have read about needing SCAM true or will some other one do the job? How do I know which version E1 or E2 to download?
