Hello there,

I just downloaded mFarag DreamBox Viewer 4 and it works fine. There is a problem, however, and it is that sound & video are not synced. The sound is a bit delayed and of course that spoils the watching experience.

I have VLC, Windows Media Player 11, and BS Player Pro installed, so I am pretty sure almost all codecs are installed.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I have the ac3filter codec installed so that's not the problem. I don't know anything about plugins or skins as I am not an expert but I don't think that's the problem either.

I believe it's my ethernet cable. The DreamBox is in the living room and the computer is in a room far from it, and that is why I had to get a long ethernet cable and connect both together. I had to move the cable from my room's roof top to the living room, and I am sure wind/dust/etc. screwed the cable.

Do you know of a way to test signal strength of the dreambox? That would be of great assistance.
