dm500 not moving moter

    dm500 not moving moter

    put in a new image on my dm500 and set it all back up but now my dm500 will not move my dish so i put my tm5400 on and the dish moves is my box dm500 fu~k or is there a simple solution?

    its either a faulty tuner or a faulty PSU, check if the green led is on on the motor. If it is then its a tuner fault.

      the green light is on the motor but flashing orange is it a tuner fault if so do i need to put in a new image or is the box dead

        No an orange light on the motor means there is a fault at the motor not your dm, my motor is a tm2600 and there is a small hole beside the light or button that you insert a thin pin or similiar into, for a couple of seconds and that reset's the motor. So i would think your motor would be similar. Before you reset it i think you should use the manual button and set the motor to zero then reset, that's what it says to do in the tm manual, so again i would think your motor would possibly be the same.

          thanks for that mate but my tm5400 box moves the dish its just the dm500 that wont move it but i can tune in the satilights one buy one manually do you still think i need to press reset on the moter thanks

            To be honest i'm not really sure, if it's working with your tm, It certainly would not hurt to conect it to your dm again then try to reset it if it's showing an orange light. It will not cause any damage doing this and you would then know if it is the dm or not. It's maybe just showing this fault with your dm, sorry for being a bit vague here, i just know an orange light means a reset is required.
