My internal fan on my 800hd makes a hell of a lot of noise,
I have a laptop cooler under it keeping it cool in any case, so could i disconnect the internal fan inside the box.

you could remove the fan, but try remove the sticky bit in centre of fan and us fine lube oil or wd 40 and oil the bearing. failing that just replace the fan, plenty on ebay
