dm600 dropping transponder

So my dm600 has been working fine for about 10months then all of a sudden a transponder has lost signal strength so about 5 sky channels no longer work.

My friend knows alot about dreamboxes so i got him to reflash the box with enigma 2 i think and pli skin which fixed the issue but then a week later the same thing happened - so this time he reflashed it with a newer image cleared out the var or something and put another tuner in it.

A week or so later same thing happened again.

Any ideas other than buying a new box

your mate dont know much if he put an enigma 2 on an enigma 1 box anyway the working channels will be in all services, remove the ones that dont work remember where they were and replace with the new found channels in all services, oh i see your new so welcome to digital kaos

actually you can load a newnigma 2 / E2 image to the dm600.

yeah have tried deleting channels - if i go to do a manual transponder scan on the affected transponders the signal strength fluctuates up and down and does not get a lock

i can recomend pcd e2 for the dm600 aswell very nice and full epg
theres also a e1/e2 hybrid image to play with from pcd too

looks like i will just sell it and get a dm800hd from tony zhou ive heard alot of people on here get there clones from him
