Hi, I am totally new at this. please can anyone help me setup orbit showtime arabia on my dm500+ with gemini 4.7. I have the official showtime card, but i am not sure what cam to use.

the OSN card won't work in a third party receiver.. the encryption is betacrypt-2.. it needs to be paired with original kaon or other official receiver.. The OScam guys were working on a fix but I don't think they succeeded

If you have the box setup give OSCam a try... I haven't heard any news on it since September, but, I don't know anyone with a dish big enough to receive it.. What size dish are you using and where are you based..?Comment

I just did, i downloaded the latest oscam 1.0(svn 3815 date 4/11/10) and tried, but its doesnt seem to be working. i am in the coverage zone in uae, i have a 1m dish. i have the kaon receiver, its actually an HD one. I wanted to try on my dm500 and if it worked i would have bought an HD dreambox. I have other channels setup on the dreambox thats why i wana get rid of the second receiver.Comment
