flash fxp prob

I've put a cline on my dm500s twice now using flash fxp , etherneted via my router and it's been a mare each time . i'm there again now , and struggling yet again , i click the lightning bolt , enter my details and it immediately connects and stays that way for a least 5 mins before it times out . The problem is , that the list of files i should then get dont appear . Instead of the list of files , i just get a blank box .
I don't know where they're hiding , can anyone tell me !

When i use Flash fxp hit the F4 on your laptop and it will bring the box up where you can enter and save your details.

As for adding your patsy right click on ccam cfg and press edit and enter your patsy.
Shutting the file will load it up for you.

Thanks very much for all your help everyone , god knows i need it ! , i've now managed to send the cline to the dreambox , all's it needed was the port setting on the dreambox changing from #80 to #21 , which was the same as in fxp and the list appeared . But ! i still cant get it active in the dreambox and can't remember how i did it last time !! . I think all's i did after fxp sent the info sucessfully last time , was to reboot the dreambox and when ccam2.1.3 restarted , there it was , but not this time
Think i'll nip the pub for a few stella's shortly , see if that sorts it , thanks again all .

another way to do it is goto run > \\192.168.xx.xxx (fill in the x's with your ip of box) see if thats any easier

thats how i do it. open browser type ftp://192.168.x.x just fill in x with your ip, then put in var/etc

Yet another mystery question if you can help , i've just recieved a second cline for my in-law , i gave the provider my in-laws e-mail address , but he sent it to mine , will it only work at his e-mail address or at mine , or both , if it's dedicated to his e-mail address , thats maybe why it's not live on the dreambox i'm trying to set up for him at my address .
Hope you understand this , coz i don't !!

Cancel that last question ! the line has just come to life at my address after going through the identical thing 15 times ! , just rebooted yet again and on it came ! , i'm off to the in-laws to see if it's ok on his .

it will not work on 2 boxes at the same time m8

does anyone have a sly channel list for DM500s , that just lists them in A-Z order , rather than the catergories style i have on now .
