pli Jade 3 replacing the existing satellite xml

I have a dreambox DM500. I have just removed the crap 'dream gaza' image and installed a 'proper' one called pli Jade 3.

I now wish to update the existing satellites list with a new more relevant one but do not see anything in the VAR/ETC folder named satellites.xml but there are satellites shown in the setup menu on the screen ....so there is a list.

My questions are:

Is the list named as something else with pli Jade 3?
Is it stored somewhere else in pli Jade 3?
If so is what I am seeing as a list of satellites stored elsewhere and something to do with the CCCam folders?

the Satellites.xml file is only located in var/etc in E1 machines..

create a custom one from the following website

http://satellites-xml.eu/

then FTP it over with a program like DCC to the var/etc

reboot the box
