Looking for a free avi to MPEG4 convertor.

Hi im looking for a decent AVI to MPEG4 convertor so that I can add then to my network mount and watch them through my Dreambox.

I used to have a decent one a few years back but when I look for one now all of them seem to want money for the software.

Any decent free ones out there.

Thanks mate. Do I got another one as i've realised my 500s only supports MPEG format.

Do you know if they convert to just MPEG?

Both should do

Bottom 1 does mpeg1 & mpeg2.

i used it this eve, seemed pretty fast to me

went with the winavi and working really fast. Think it may be putting things in to a letterbox view, any way to stop this. May be wrong as i've only converted 2 films so far.
