hi all i have a dm500 which is about a month old with pli jade on it. it works ok but the epg is crap with only now & next epg. does any 1 know how if poss to get even just a 12 hour epg as ive been told a 7 day epg would slow the box down ???

i get to plugin menu & mine reads
ccam ppanel
db-switch
mv3.5.2
movieplayer
when i go down to mv 3.5.2 & press ok it goes into some other epg but it aint no better ???

From memory you need to download SQLite plugin and the rytec xml plugin (UK). Once done you will find the Dreambox EPG Config in plugins along with epg update.

Then follow the guide I linked you to. It works but the RTxml is off some of the time as said at the end of the guide.

You need to d/l the SQlite plugin from Blue panel

Yeah, follow the guide that Satsmo has posted. I used it a couple of days ago, as I was in the same boat as you. Works fine now.

right i need a idiots guide. i googled sqlite on chrome & found on fxm.net 18 dloads about it but which 1 do i need & how do i put it on my dreambox & did stillblue put the rytec dload on his box. also how do i when on the mapping screen match the boquets to my channels or is it just a case of channels on 1 side & on the other go down to sky to match them up. sorry for being u.s but im used to eurovox's which was simple

The link I gave you explains in as best a form as possible. Just follow it step by step. SQlite is downloaded via the blue button panel as stated.

You change from bouquet to bouquet and map channels accordingly as per the guide.

sorry satsmo but no luck. do you mean press the blue button on the remote when your on the 3rd pic to rescan epg then does that dload sqlite ? if not where is this blue button panel as on mine it doesnt change anything i still get the mv3,5,2 thing as i said before on the plugins section & when i exit doing it the box crashes if i try to enter that mv3.5.2 on the plug ins menu, thanx for your time anyway
