received my dm500v8 today, flashed stb,scanned ok, set up cccam 2.1.3.ok but do i enabled dhcp and leave it enabled in both areas or do i enable wait and then disable,has any onyone got a short tutorial on setting this clone stb up,i have also tried pli jade,darkstar 2,thanks in advance.

what do yo mean by magic to var/etc,sorry for my ignorance but im really clued up on the cable side as i have sorted many out,but iknow it should be the same but lost with all this new software..thanksComment

your config/c line is the magic, unless you intend to use as freeview box. think you need to a lot of reading, google cccam, you will find what your looking for. its not as easy as cable, my 6 year old could do that, but its not hard once you get your head round it, but you wont get same channels as on cable without the little bit of magicLast edited by mark8393; 16 December, 2010, 00:42.Comment
