Dreambox 1 day old and no image or ip????

I just bought a genuine dreambox 600 which arrived yesterday. The box is connected via scart and Ethernet. I had installed all channels and was going to flash it with Gemini and install cccam etc. I rebooted it via telnet and was going to upload Gemini. But after the reboot NOTHING! The box has a green light but won't show anything through scart and now the ip is not visible and so can't connect to the box. Tried everything and no good. Is it dead after one day?!!!!!! Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Ben

You need to try and see if it will connect with Dreamup 1.3.3.4 with a null modem cable and ehernet cable.
See if it responds and find an image with the correct bootloader.

Looks like I'll have to order a cable. What bootloader do you suggest. Any idea what could have happened?

Boxes are very temprermental, always worth having the gear to reflash like null modem cos there are loads of different images to try and finding one your happy with.
I would try powering up several times it might just come on or if you can get into menu do a hard reset.

Will giv it a go one thing I have noticed is that when the box is switched on the tv does flick to the scart output but just have the blank screen so it is recognising it very odd.

Can you try it with either scart or dvi? Sounds like your on the wrong setting so try it with both in and go through av on the tv,you often dont see anything if you choose the wrong one.

didn t know a 600 had a dvi ouput ..thought it was only dm 800s . is it a non hd box .. is it a enigma 1 running software .mine was ,they are nothing like a dm 800 .if im correct you have one.

i dont own now .but they are quite simple to flash with null. dreamup.

i used to use this loader but use web interface and patched dreamup now which is quicker .null and patch lead now . with my 800 .
              best of luck,

also did nt think its important the bl etc just choose a latest image away from gemini ..

Have you tried it with ethernet cable and null modem together??

What version of Dreamup you using, 1.3.3.4 norm the best but there are others that might work.
                    Keep trying mate.
